Mr. G. Mathew Gordon - Superintendent

The Canton Area School District currently serves1,055 students in the townships of Canton and LeRoy, in Bradford County; the townships of McIntyre and McNett, in Lycoming County; the township of Union in Tioga County and the borough of Canton.

We have a beautiful centralized campus with one newly renovated elementary school and one newly renovated Jr/Sr High school. Our students continue to display strong performances in many different programs and various extracurricular activities. Over 70% of our graduates move on to post-secondary educational institutions. We are proud of our history of academic excellence, and we will strive to exceed this level of excellence as we further focus our efforts on student learning.

We are privileged to receive endless support from parents, community members, School Board members, staff, and students,who are energetic and determined. We encourage everyone, especially parents to become an active participant in the educational process. Together, we are committed to provide the finest educational opportunities for all students in the district.
