Welcome to Mrs. Dewey's second grade classroom.  It is hard to believe that the summer went by so quickly.  I am excited and looking forward to another great year of learning with your child.  This year I will be utilizing the Reading Street literacy program.  This program incorporates reading, writing, spelling, and phonics. I will use EveryDay math to teach math skills and concepts.  I will also be incorporating many Learning Focused strategies into my lessons to help your child be a successful learner.  Please feel free to contact me any time throughout the year if you have a question or concern.  I look forward to meeting you at Open House on Thursday, September 16th.
