Welcome to my second grade classroom!  This is my sixth year at Canton Elementary School.  In 2006, I graduated from Penn State University, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education.  In 2010, I completed my master's degree program in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University.  The courses that I took for this degree offered the most up-to-date research and strategies for teachers.  The most important thing for you to know about me, though, is that I love my job.

 

Throughout most of the day in my classroom, you will hear the "constructive noise" of my students actively engaged in their learning.  My philosophy of classroom management is based upon the principles of creating a positive, respectful, and caring classroom community for all learners.
