Teacher Resource Center

Location:

·        The Teacher Resource Center is located in the copy room of the Canton High School Library.

Services:

·        Laminating- small and large items

·        Copying- 2 machines

·        Bulletin board paper obtained by size and color specified-now in the faculty room

·        Research- give us a topic a week in advance and well prepare a   bibliography of print and electronic resources

Resources Available:

• Dual-Enrollment Texts - Here are the used books that we have available to loan to dual-enrollment students. We loan out these books on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• College Text Outline Books - These are course outlines, based mainly on community college courses, that will give students and teachers an idea what content is covered for various subjects.
• Professional Library  -  Books for educators about education. Sharpen your teaching skills!
• Staff Library- These books are available for staff only, with a flexible checkout time. The collection is located in the teacher resource center in the corner by the phone. Email a title and we will check it out on the form and send it to your room. In the elementary school, email and we will shuttle it to you.
• Favorite Sites for Teachers - A list of handy sites for information about poems, rubrics, terminology, mnemonics, Boolean searches, Library of Congress, copyright, and much more. Check it out!
