A little bit about Mr. Hojnowski ("Mr. Hojo")
Mr. Hojnowski graduated in 1989 from West Chester University with a BS in Earth and Space Science. In 1993, he received his teaching certificates in Elementary Education, Earth Science, and Biology. He taught Earth and Space Science in the Horseheads High School from 1994 until he came to Canton High School in 2000. Since coming to Canton, he has become certified in Agriculture and presently teaches Agriculture classes and varying earth and biological classes. He is also the advisor to the Canton FFA.
Mr. Hojnowski likes to farm when he is not in school. He owns some beef animals, horses, and chickens, and makes hay over the summer. He also loves to play on the water. Fishing, water skiing, and tubing are some recreational activities that he enjoys. He also loves spending time at the First Christian Church of ALba directing a youth choir, playing trombone in a brass choir, and singing in the adult choir.
