The AIM Team has replaced the IST (Instructional Support Team) process that was orginally introduced to the Canton Area Elementary School in the 1992-1993 school year.  The focus of the AIM team has switched to a Response to Intervention model in which universal screening measures are administered and reviewed to identify students who are struggling academically.  Examples of universal screening measures include DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) and the 4Sight tests.  To learn more about the AIM team, please click on the AIM Powerpoint.AIM Powerpoint
